If you play regular club padel and want a stable, hard-wearing shoe without paying for Adidas's premium foams, start with the Courtquick. This men's pair is dark blue with silver metallic stripes on a white sole.
It is at its best on the turn. Slingframe construction steadies your foot as you rotate and change direction, so you stay balanced when you twist for a volley, while a flexible Bounce midsole and Cloudfoam padding keep you on the front foot. Underneath is Adiwear rubber, and an Adituff guard shields the toe when you drag it through a low ball. The upper mixes textile and synthetic, laces up in a regular fit, and at least a fifth of its materials are recycled.
The trade-off is the foam. There is no Boost in this shoe, so if you want more spring off a hard push, step up to the Crazyquick Boost, which adds a Boost insert to the midsole for energy return. Prefer white? It also comes in white with black and orange.
