That softer core gives you easy depth from the back of the court and a forgiving, elbow-friendly feel. The FG3 triple-layer fibreglass face keeps the structure durable, the Exclusive Spin dual-rough surface grips for spin, and the anti-vibration system quiets off-centre contact. Medium balance keeps it quick in hand at the net.

You give up a little of the Hard's directness — point-blank volleys come off with less snap, and strong hitters may want more feedback from the face. If that is you, the Equation Advanced Hard is the same racket with the firmer core.
